1. Controller

Mundi Plastics is a Dutch family business and the data controller for personal data we receive through this website.

2. What data do we process?

We only process data that you provide to us through the contact form, e-mail or phone:

• Name, company name and job title — to address you personally and prepare a quote.
• E-mail address and phone number — to contact you.
• Postal address — when needed for delivery, samples or invoicing.
• Content of your message and attachments — for example a drawing, CAD file or description.

We do not use tracking cookies, analytics platforms, or advertising networks. Our website only places functional cookies where strictly necessary.

3. For what purpose and on what legal basis?

We process your data to communicate with you about your enquiry, prepare a quote, and — if we reach an agreement — perform the contract. The legal basis is performance of a (pre-)contractual relationship (GDPR art. 6(1)(b)) or your explicit consent when you reach out to us (sub a).

4. How long do we keep data?

Enquiries that don't lead to an assignment are kept for a maximum of two years — after that we delete them. For customer relationships, the retention periods under Dutch law apply: seven years for financial records, ten years for product documentation we have a maintenance obligation for.

5. Sharing with third parties

We never sell your data. We only share it with parties that help us deliver our services, and only as far as necessary:

• FormSubmit — processor for the contact form. Your message is forwarded to us by FormSubmit via e-mail; FormSubmit servers are located in the US. For data transfers to the US we rely on the European Commission's adequacy decisions (Data Privacy Framework).
• Google Maps — we embed a Google map on the contact page. Google may process limited technical data (IP address, browser information) when the map loads. If you want to prevent this, use a browser add-on that blocks external content.
• E-mail provider — for sending and storing business correspondence.
• Accountant, tax advisor, hosting provider — where legally or operationally needed.

6. Security

We secure your data with appropriate technical and organisational measures. Employees only have access to data as needed for their work. In the event of a data breach with a high risk to your rights, we will inform you within 72 hours and notify the Dutch Data Protection Authority.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have a number of rights:

• Access — you can request what data we have about you.
• Correction — you can have incorrect data corrected.
• Erasure — you can request deletion, subject to statutory retention periods.
• Restriction — you can request restriction of processing.
• Objection — you can object to processing based on legitimate interest.
• Data portability — you can receive your data in a common format.

Send your request to info@mundiplastics.nl. We respond within four weeks. If you disagree with our handling, you can lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.

8. Changes

We may update this privacy policy if law or practice gives reason. The latest version is always on this page, with the date at the top.
